The Cree XLamp XR-E are simply the most efficient power LED on the planet today. These are from P4 bin and , Warm White at  3000K, Rated at 80 lumens typical @350mA.

These LEDs are pre-mounted on a 20mm hexagonal metal clad circuit board so they are dead easy to use.

Of course, they must be used with an appropriately sized heatsink, just like any other power LED.
